Our Director of External Affairs, Bsh. James Ochiel today joined Kisumu Governor, Prof. Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o during the launch of Beach landing sites at Kichinjio Beach( formerly Lwangni Beach)
The sites will be constructed by Kenya Shipyards in partnership with the Kisumu County Government across the five sub- counties.
The event was attended by national and county government officials as well asbother stakeholders drawn from various institutions.
GLUK’s 2023-2027 Strategic Plan has a focus on blue economy making this development an important aspect to the university as a critical player in the blue economy.
